Description of work to be done: Manages agency volunteer activities to recruit, retain, and grow volunteer services across the agency. Develops, implements, monitors and accepts responsibility for program goals. Skillfully interfaces with multiple departments and staff to meet department‚s needs for volunteer support. Increases community awareness of volunteer opportunities and serves as a spokesperson for the agency. Interacts with hospice staff in carrying out responsibilities.
License/Education/Qualifications Required: Bachelor‚s degree in arts, communications, or business administration required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications. Personnel management experience. Excellent communication abilities (written and oral). Demonstrated experience of at least three years in a non-profit as either a program coordinator or volunteer manager. Demonstrated exceptional presentation skills.
