Responsible for developing and implementing electronic documentation training for Elizabeth Hospice staff. Participates in the evaluation of software and updates to the AllScripts system. Provides and participates in on-site support of information systems processes. Analyzes clinical information, prepares documentation, coordinates record review process and identifies trends. Maintains standardization of electronic documentation and applicable processes through communication and relationship building with clinical supervisory staff and all operating units. Functions as local system administrator for hospice IT system. Identifies opportunities for improving operational processes that will enhance efficiency within the automated clinical system.
License/Education/Qualifications Required: Working knowledge and user experience with PCI application AllScripts. Comprehensive working knowledge of information system concepts and clinical information system concepts. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
